Edmonton River Valley
The River Valley is the largest urban park in Canada. It features numerous bike trails and is a beautiful place to be in the summer. It boasts gorgeous views of the North Saskatchewan River. The River Valley has over 150 km of trails scattered throughout the city, so don’t worry about getting bored! You can cycle on the paved roads or go off the beaten path if you’re looking for something more challenging.
Saskatchewan's Battleford Trails
If you’re a beginner or intermediate cyclist, the Saskatchewan Battleford Trails are for you! With over 40 km of grassy and paved trails, you can spend your entire summer here. Don’t forget to check out Finlayson Island, located between Battleford and North Battleford. Here you’ll find a variety of flora and fauna and a beautiful place to take a break.
Corridor de la Rivière-Saint-Charles
Enjoy gorgeous views of the Saint-Charles River as you bike along this beautiful path. Located in Quebec city, the trail extends from the Scott Bridge to the Samson Bridge and is about 9 km long. When you’re in need of a break, there are a few places to stop along the way including Cartier-Brébeuf Park and Victoria Park, as well as a few historical sites.
Duck Mountain Provincial Park
This stunning park is a wilderness lovers’ paradise. Duck Mountain Provincial Park is located approximately 450 km from Winnipeg near the Saskatchewan border. The park has well-groomed trails with some beautiful views and areas to take a break by the lake. It’s also good for kids as most of the trail is easy-to-moderate difficulty.
