To get everyone into the spirit of giving, Hazelview held a December holiday food drive in December, supporting the Daily Bread Food Bank - a non-profit, charitable organization that is fighting to end hunger in our communities.
This was a corporate initiative that Hazelview’s Toronto head office participated in. We collected an impressive 2,943 pounds of food to contribute to the overall 11 million pounds of food distributed by the food bank. This food drive sparked friendly competition between departments, where each group strived to bring in more food items than their colleagues.
Throughout the year, Hazelview demonstrates its commitment to the community through participating in a number of charities both at the corporate and regional level. With the help of our vendors and staff, our inaugural food drive was a tremendous success and the start of a great tradition at Hazelview. We look forward to many more successful years to come.
