Share:

Your Hazelview Properties apartment is just steps away from the majestic Saint Lawrence River. Make the most of this incredible summertime destination with these ideas from the Hazelview Properties blog team.

Start at the park

One of the best ways to take in the natural beauty of the Saint Lawrence River is to visit a local park nestled on the river’s shoreline. Pack a picnic and enjoy a day by the water with family or friends. There are many parks in the Longueuil neighbourhood. For example, stroll through the Flower Gardens at the popular Parc Jean-Drapeau (1 Circuit Gilles Villeneuve). This free attraction is only a 20-minute ride by public transportation from 101 Place Charles-LeMoyne Apartments.

A day on the water

The Saint Lawrence River is the perfect place to cool down this summer. Jean-Doré Beach at Parc Jean-Drapeau is open from June 18th through September 7th. This is a great spot to catch some sun, go swimming or play a game of beach volleyball. The beach is only a ten-minute drive from 99 Place Charles-LeMoyne Apartments. You can also access the water at a nearby marina, such as Réal-Bouvier Marina (101, ch de la Rive). This neighbourhood site includes a cycling trail, picnic areas, observation points and a link to Old Montreal by river shuttle. 101 Place Charles-LeMoyne Apartments is only a ten-minute bike ride from this marina.
